As large events are still on hold for the time being, duck races continue on. Just a few weeks ago, the

Desert Duck Derby went on to sell 9,000 ducks with an original goal of 5,000 ducks! Although they weren't able to host the event they originally planned, The Arizona Pet Project went live on Instagram for the main event. The ducks were brought to one of their sponsor's warehouses where the ducks were tagged and dropped in a pile. Churchill, a pup looking for his furever home was selected to pluck the winning ducks. He did his best but he needed some reinforcement to find the winners.

We may not be able to attend events for a little while longer. But we can still participate and engage in them virtually all while giving back to our communities!
