September Fundraisers

September duck racing season recap featuring multiple nonprofit events across Illinois, Georgia, California, Texas, Kansas, North Carolina, Alabama, Ohio, Louisiana, and New York. Combined community impact supporting Special Olympics, youth services, education, and local charities.

September has been one of our busiest months for Derby Duck Fundraisers!

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 14,012

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $61,840
    All proceeds supported the athletes of Special Olympics Southern Illinois.

September 4

Rotary Club of Sugarloaf

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 4,761

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $29,320
    Proceeds benefited local charities including Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, Rainbow Village, Revved Up Kids, Nothing But the Truth Food Ministry, and more.

Kiwanis Club of Palmdale West

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 12,877

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $65,635
    Funds supported education and youth programs in the Antelope Valley community.

September 13

Meals on Wheels Rural Capital Area

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 2,840

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $12,030
    Proceeds helped purchase meals and expand capacity to serve the elderly in the community.

Sertoma Clubs of Topeka Duck Race

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 11,441

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $45,515
    Funds benefited Sertoma Clubs of Topeka, their sponsorship beneficiaries, and Kansas Big Brothers & Big Sisters – Topeka.

Teeny Tiny Turtles on the Tar

  • Total Turtles Adopted: 2,000

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $8,235
    Each adoption supported over 1,800 youth in the Twin Counties, helping nurture their potential and shape brighter futures.

Gadsden-Etowah Habitat for Humanity

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 3,071

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $13,440
    Proceeds supported Habitat’s mission to partner with volunteers and families to build affordable housing.

Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 1,492

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $11,870
    Proceeds benefited families in the Manhattan and Wamego areas through the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan.

Atlanta Duck Pluck for Special Olympics Georgia

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 11,000

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $53,899
    Funds supported Special Olympics Georgia, which provides year-round training and competitions for over 26,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities.

United Rehabilitation Services (URS)

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 16,014

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $64,869
    Proceeds funded programs serving nearly 1,000 clients annually, from pediatric therapy with on-site nursing to adult vocational training and employment services.

Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 1,148

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $4,795
    Proceeds supported local efforts to eliminate substandard housing through construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of homes.

Cross Timbers Rotary Duck Derby

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 40,000

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $200,000
    Funds benefited 2024 nonprofit partner agencies promoting the betterment of the local community.

First Resources Corp.

  • Total Ducks Adopted: 2,215

  • Total Adoption Revenue: $9,345
    Proceeds provided disability, employment, behavioral health, and mental health services tailored to individual needs.

Every duck adopted will help Second Harvest provide 15 meals to families across South Louisiana.
